ANTI-AGING TECHNOLOGIES: HORMONES, SECRETAGOGUES, AND SUPPLEMENTS
As long as we are alive, we are aging.
Our bodies are creating new cells, dispensing with old ones, repairing damage, attempting to maintain energy and infrastructure.
The fact of aging is universal. Indeed, aging is built into the fabric of the universe, which began as expanding matter and energy, and later became the reality we experience today, in which discreet objects arise, exist for a finite time, and then dissipate due to the effects of entropy.
Some of these momentary objects are us: living beings who defy the process of entropy to maintain a unique structure for a finite period of time.
What happens after the body dies is a matter for religion, science and faith, but those of us who love life and ourselves want to keep our bodies healthy and youthful as long as possible, so we can have maximum health and enjoyment.
This quest for long and health life goes back to the dawn of humans and has inspired the search for the Fountain of Youth, the cryogenic freezing of cadavers, and hundreds of elixirs, potions, prayers, and miracle cures that purport to extend and enhance life.
At Triangle Healing Products, we offer the most reliable research, products and processes that deal with aging, youthfulness, and full health. You won’t find myths, useless formulas, or wishful thinking at Triangle. You’ll find products and information that can extend youth and make aging less painful.
We’ve found authentic, credible, innovative products, health practices and services that work well for people who seek youth and vigor. We’ve discovered that although “getting older” is an inherent part of being alive, it does not have to include disease, dysfunction, and decline.
We’ve got 70 year old customers who jog bike, swim, make love and feel as strong as they felt when they were age 40, if not stronger!
To understand the Triangle approach to aging, it’s helpful to understand the phases of growth and aging humans go through.
Starting from when we’re in the womb until we are approximately 20 years old, our bodies are building core infrastructure, such as the skeleton. These building-growth patterns are primarily influenced by genetics and hormones, but are also affected by environmental factors, dietary intake, and activity.
The growth patterns are part of a map designed by DNA and the endocrine system, but can be greatly affected by lifestyle, nutrition and other volatile factors that are dependent on how we choose to live.
The endocrine system produces and maintains hormonal balances, and is crucial to growth and aging. The master hormone is human growth hormone (HGH), which affects physical maturation and the release and function of most other hormones.
Reproductive hormones such as testosterone in men and estrogen in women are also important drivers of body development, and are sometimes described as the architects of the body, especially in adolescence.
Around age 20, production of HGH begins to drop. The skeleton stops growing, and other body infrastructure also begins to assume stasis, rather than a condition of continued development.
During the decade of the 20’s, production of HGH, thyroid hormones, reproductive hormones and other hormones peak, then begin to decline slowly.
In your early 20’s, your body should be in its most vigorous, resilient and flexible phase. This is the spring and early summer “seasons” of human physical development, during which most people experience their lifetime peaks of muscle mass, heart and lung capacity, digestive fire, energy, sexual desire and performance, mental acuity, cardiovascular health, immune system health, and regenerative capacity.
Beginning at approximately age 30, declines in HGH and other hormones, combined with injuries, stress, gravity effects, lifestyle mistakes, genetics and other factors begin the process of entropic dismantling that gradually diminishes our bodies. When you see elderly people who are mere whispers of their former selves, you are probably seeing the process of entropic dissolution that removes health and youth- one cell at a time.

Run Long & Easy |
When people are in their 30’s, they often experience onset of various declines, including muscle mass and strength losses, sexual problems, chronic aches and pains, depression, and other problems related to the naturally programmed exit from the peak youthful phase of their life.
In the crucial decade when a person is aged 40 to 50, the aging process is so cumulative that it forces humans to viscerally confront their mortality and the seasonal nature of life. It is a particularly daunting era in a person’s life, because they feel the loss of their youth in a physical way, and because they realize that they only get four seasons…only one chance to be young.
That’s why the mid-life decade can be viewed as the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. By this time, levels of HGH and other hormones are much lower than when a person was 20.
The heart, lungs, muscle, skeleton, brain and other systems and organs have attained maximum capacity at around age 22, and are losing capacity by about 10 percent per year when compared to the capacity a person had at age 20. In mid-life, alert people begin to unavoidably sense how their bodies are being dismantled. If they are intelligent and if they value their lives, they actively seek interventions that reverse aging and restore lost youth. That’s when they come to Triangle Healing Products, seeking to turn the clock back.
The latest anti-aging research offers a comprehensive approach to maintaining health and maximizing function. This approach is multi-faceted and complex. It requires an investment of heart, intellect, discipline and money.
You can purchase extremely useful anti-aging products from Triangle, but some anti-aging cannot be purchased at all: it involves a commitment to the right kinds of exercise, lifestyle choices, and other deliberate interventions.
Exercise, healthy eating, avoidance of drugs and junk food, a rewarding family and social life, spiritual values, and a fulfilling job are essential facets of an anti-aging program.
Beyond that is the province of body chemistry, metabolism, replenishment and revitalization.
One of the primary goals of any legitimate anti-aging program is to restore youthful levels of HGH and other hormones.
In some ways, this process is unnatural; it is similar by analogy to putting a new engine and transmission into an aged chassis. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be like that, using higher than natural levels of hormones to prompt the body to revert to its peak youthful state. It is like taking a tree that has lost its leaves and forcing it to revert to its springtime phase by using various fertilizers and plant growth regulators.
HRT can be accomplished using pharmaceutical drugs that are identical to human hormones. There are challenges associated with the pharmaceutical approach, but it can be a very effective way of revitalizing an aging body.
A smart HRT program begins with HGH, which is responsible for growth during childhood and adolescence and for repair and regeneration of human tissue throughout life. By the time we reach age 30, HGH levels are only about 30 percent of their levels during childhood. After age 30, the levels decline 10 percent per decade. By the time most of us are 35 years old, our bodies no longer produce enough HGH and other hormones to repair all the entropic damage that is dismantling us.
As the universe seeks to take us apart cell by bell and as the environment wears us down, our HGH levels decline, making it harder for our bodies to fight entropy. We are literally being perforated. Anti-aging is a means of slowing down the perforation process.
Decline of HGH levels is not the only cause of aging, but if HGH levels remained at the level of a 20-year-old, we would experience fewer aging effects and those effects would occur more slowly. By increasing levels of HGH in our bodies, we can slow or even reverse many manifestations of aging. Ideally, HGH replacement should begin at about age 30, but HGH replacement can be beneficial at any age above 30.
For people age 45 or older, HGH augmentation can have an almost immediate and acute impact on aging.
Here are some of the good results of HGH therapy:
- Reduce excess body fat, especially abdominal fat, and increase lean muscle mass. If muscle mass increase is accompanied by intense exercise, significant increase in strength can result.
- Reduce wrinkling of skin and some other effects of skin aging.
- Revitalize and restore function to internal organs that have atrophied with age.
- Increase bone density.
- Strengthen the immune system and the body’s ability to heal wounds and injuries.
- Increase sexual desire, hair growth, and maximum exercise output.
What HGH cannot do:
- It cannot eliminate the past effects of oxidation (free radical) damage, although it does help cells repair themselves better.
- It cannot undo the effects of cardiovascular disease, but it can slow its progression by improving cholesterol levels.
- Although it helps skin, it cannot eliminate all of the damage caused by sunlight and other ultraviolet sources.
- It cannot restore lost organs, limbs, or repair the effects of drastic surgery or catastrophic accidents and injuries. However, it can speed healing time.
HGH is available as a prescription medication that must be injected and is very expensive.
In the body, HGH is produced by the pituitary gland. The ability of the pituitary gland to produce HGH remains relatively steady with age, but the ability of the pituitary to release HGH declines with age due to several factors. Triangle offers products that seek to increase HGH levels by increasing the body’s production and release of HGH.
There are at least 3 substances that control HGH secretion by the pituitary:
- Growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) levels decline with age. Increased levels of GHRH cause the pituitary to increase release of HGH.
- Growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP) levels also decline with age. Increasing levels of GHRP also cause the pituitary to increase its output of HGH. The only naturally-occurring growth hormone releasing peptide appears to be “ghrelin,” which is a powerful appetite stimulant. When given to laboratory animals, they eat huge amounts of food. The weight gain induced by overeating overwhelms the fat burning caused by the growth hormone release, so the animals become obese. Pharmaceutical companies have produced synthetic growth hormone releasing peptides, such as GHRP-6 and hexarelin, which stimulate HGH release but do not increase appetite. Unfortunately, these substances are not widely available.
- Somatostatin is a hormone that blocks release of HGH by the pituitary. The body’s production of somatostatin INCREASES with age, and causes a corresponding DECREASE in the pituitary’s HGH production and release.
Thus, we see that natural production and release of HGH is controlled by GHRH, GHRP, somatostatin, other substances in the body, and diet and activity.
HGH is normally released from the pituitary in pulses or bursts throughout the day. There are usually 10 to 20 surges of HGH release in a 24 hour cycle, with the largest release occurring shortly after you fall asleep. As we age, there is a decline in the amount of HGH released during these pulses. There is also a decline in the frequency of the pulses.
There are three basic ways for increasing HGH levels in the body:
- Consuming substances that increase the natural secretion of HGH by the pituitary gland.
- Using an injectable human growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) or other substances that stimulate or simulate GHRH.
- Using injectable human growth hormone (HGH).
Substances that increase natural production and secretion of HGH are called “secretagogues.” They work best for people between the ages of 30 to 45.
Triangle offers secretagogue products made by Nutraceutics, one of the world’s leading supplement companies.
The company makes two products that assist HGH release and augment general anti-aging processes. One of their products is called MediTropin.
It contains secretagogues, as well as nutrients that nourish the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. MediTropin also contains the amino acids that form the building blocks of proteins and enzymes, stimulate hormone production, increase immune function, repair muscle, help new muscle develop, and help neurotransmitter function and production.

Grow Young Again |
MediTropin was designed so physicians can adjust doses for patients with different needs. The product contains GHRH decapeptides, which are advanced pure proteins and peptides derived from hypothalamic glands.
GHRH Decapeptides nourish the hypothalamus, the central component of the neuroendocrine system which is responsible for signaling the pituitary to manufacture and release growth hormone.
Nutraceutics makes a product called Symbiotropin. It was developed as an anti-aging adjunct therapy that can be used on its own or as a complement to injectable HGH.
Triangle has other products that stimulate the body to make or release natural HGH. Many of these contain amino acids. Some customers report HGH enhancement by taking the amino acid L-glutamine in the morning and the amino acid L-arginine before bedtime. Both are taken on an empty stomach. These and other amino acids are often precursors for HGH.
There has been only one scientific study showing that L-glutamine causes HGH release, but there is a large body of anecdotal evidence from anti-aging physicians and their patients that L-glutamine is effective, especially in persons under age 45.
There’s lots of evidence that L-arginine can potentiate growth hormone release. In fact, the administration of large doses of L-arginine is the standard test method when testing the ability of the pituitary to release growth hormone. (Most researchers believe L-arginine promotes HGH release by inhibiting somatostatin). L-arginine has many other benefits in addition to being a growth hormone releaser, including its ability to increase muscle strength, recovery time, and mass.
There are several problems with the use of amino acids as HGH releasers, the most significant of which is that their effectiveness diminishes with age and continued use.
For most people, proper doses of amino acids mentioned above are about right for maintaining youthful levels of HGH beginning at about age 30, and continuing into the 40's, and sometimes (but rarely) beyond 50. In order to maintain effectiveness, these amino acids should be used for about 6 weeks, then stopped for 3 weeks. The 6-week on, 3 weeks off cycle can be continued indefinitely. This cycling helps to maintain the effectiveness of HGH release. The use of HGH amino acid augmentation should be alternated with other HGH-enhancing therapies, including use of injectable HGH.
Unfortunately, the effectiveness of HGH release with amino acids is highly variable from individual to individual. For some, it is not a very effective means of HGH release. For a few others, it is an effective means of spurring HGH release until age 60 and beyond.
For amino acids to be effective, certain other substances must bepresent, and other substances must not be present. Triangle Healing Products offers the highest quality amino acids, along with specialty formulas that contain the proper ratios of substances that help amino acids spur increased HGH release.
In order for your body to naturally produce HGH, or to produce HGH in response to augmented amino acids, the following things must NOT be present:
- Anti-cholinergic medicines. This includes most medicines that make you drowsy or dehydrated. The most common of these are antihistamines that make you drowsy, including Benadryl (or any other brand of diphenhydramine), Sominex, Nytol, Tylenol-PM, and Zyrtec. (Claritin, Clarinex and Allegra probably do not affect the HGH-releasing effect of amino acids or natural HGH release.)
- Alcohol, in any appreciable quantity, blunts HGH-releasing effect of amino acids and suppresses natural HGH release. Alcohol can suppress your natural HGH release during sleep.
- Eating carbohydrate within 3 hours before (or one hour after) taking an amino-acid HGH releaser or injecting HGH can significantly reduce growth hormone release or utilization.
If you are seeking to augment HGH using secretagogues or other non-prescription methods, don’t be fooled by so-called “oral HGH” sprays. These products lack scientific credibility. HGH cannot be absorbed through the mouth or digestive system. If HGH is swallowed, it is destroyed in the digestive tract before it can be absorbed into the blood stream.
An injectable Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) has been produced with rDNA technology, and is available by prescription in the United States and many other countries. The synthetic GHRH is called Geref, and is a 29 amino acid fragment of the larger GHRH molecule; it appears to have the same effect as the full GHRH molecule. The generic name of Geref is “sermorelin.”
Unfortunately, Geref costs more than injectable HGH, and is more difficult to obtain. Some studies indicate that GHRH works better in conjunction with L-arginine.
One GHRH analog that has some promise is Trans-D-Tropin. It contains fragments of the growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) molecule that are small enough to be absorbed through the skin. Trans-D-Tropin doesn't work for everyone and costs nearly as much as HGH injections.
Pharmaceutical companies have produced other growth hormone releasing agents that have been shown to be very effective in reversing HGH production decline. The one that worked best was MK-0677, an oral medicine that restored the release of HGH in the pulsatile fashion characteristic of HGH release in young people.
The one surefire way to enhance your HGH levels regardless of age or other factors is to use injectable HGH. For many people past the age of 45 years or so, this is the only HGH option that really works well. This costs about $400 per month for most people.
It’s difficult to find physicians who will cooperate with your quest for pro-active anti-aging medications. Many of them will refuse to help you increase HGH levels. Others will claim that there is no benefit to HGH or other hormone replacement therapies.
These types of physicians are in the dark ages; they have not kept up with the latest research and health trends. Part of their problem is ideological: they do not believe that the purpose of the medical profession is to prevent disease and increase youthfulness. For an entertaining and informative look at the medical profession and health care industry, read Kevin Trudeau’s book, “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About.”
Any licensed physician can prescribe HGH, but few are willing to do so. It is best to find a physician who is familiar with HGH, and who has other patients using it. By consulting the Life Extension Foundation and The American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, you can find doctors who will help you with HGH and HRT.
Most of these physicians will want to do a comprehensive physical examination that costs about $300. The exam looks at hormone levels and other factors. To properly assess HGH production and release, the physician will test your levels of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, a hormone otherwise known as IGF-1 or Somatomedin-C.
IGF-1 is a marker for HGH. Since natural HGH is released in surges, and it has a very short lifetime in the body, it is not practical to measure your HGH levels directly. Much of the HGH is converted to IGF-1, which has a fairly long lifetime in the body and can be more easily measured. These tests are useful regardless of whether you end up using HGH or not.
There are several brand names of pharmaceutical HGH. These include Humatrope, Genotropin, Saizen, Norditropin, Nutropin.
These brands contain real injectable HGH made with recombinant DNA technology. Some brands of HGH are sold as two vials that must be combined. One vial contains powdered freeze-dried HGH. The other contains sterile water with a bacteriostatic preservative.
When the user is ready to begin using the contents of the package, a specific amount of the sterile water is drawn out of the second vial with a needle and syringe and injected into the first vial to dissolve and liquefy the powdered HGH. The solution would then be ready for injection. The unused portion has to be refrigerated and used within two weeks.
HGH is mixed when ready for use by the patient because HGH powder is much more durable than dissolved HGH. Dissolved HGH is susceptible to being attacked by bacteria and degraded by enzymes.
Many people experience blood glucose effects from HGH use. Patients and their physicians need to closely monitor blood glucose levels, hormone levels, and other physiologic factors during HGH use or other HRT.
Some patients use the pharmaceutical drug metformin along with HGH to keep glucose levels under control. Other patients use dietary controls and manipulate injection scheduling to deal with these effects.
In young people, the body releases HGH during the sleep cycle. Some doctors recommend that HGH be injected just before bedtime, but this might interfere with natural HGH release from the pituitary. Many patients say they find better results from taking HGH in the morning or before strenuous exercise.
There is probably a benefit to dividing the total daily dose of HGH into a series of injections scheduled throughout the day.
Although it seems counterintuitive, women require a slightly larger dose of HGH than men. This has been partially explained by studies of the effects of oral estrogen, which appears to interfere with HGH absorption. Transdermal estrogen and patches create less interference with HGH absorption.
Mainstream allopathic doctors don’t believe in proactive medicine, and of course they oppose HRT and HGH for most people. They’ll tell you that there are many dangerous side effects of using HGH. There are side-effects, but most of them come from overuse and for people in risk groups.
If you find a doctor who will prescribe HGH, that doctor is likely familiar with the actual side-effects of HGH and will monitor you for those effects. Most of the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture HGH have interactive websites, toll-free numbers and other assistance available for patients with questions.
For many people, the main problem with HGH is that it has to be injected. Needle phobia is a serious problem, but it is one that can be overcome with experience.
It is important when augmenting HGH that you also augment other hormones and increase the efficiency of your nutritional and exercise program. HGH should be seen as part of a package of interventions that allows you to fight the aging process. The results of HGH therapy are potentiated and enhanced by combining it with DHEA, reproductive hormones, thyroid hormones, minerals, amino acids, and other substances that help re-create youthful body chemistry.

Enjoy Life Always |
Triangle Healing Products carries many of the products that are useful for anti-aging HGH augmentation. We are especially proud to offer HGH-complementary supplements and vitamins made by Ultra Botanicals and New Chapter, two of the best manufacturers in the world of these types of products.
Anti-aging is an exciting health topic. Recently, scientists claim to have tested a new anti-aging hormone made by a gene called Klotho, that supposedly suppresses aging in mice.
Dr. Makoto Kuro-o authored a study that appeared in the journal “Science.” He says humans have an almost identical version of the Klotho gene carried by mice, and "some studies show that variations of the Klotho gene are associated with extended life in humans.”
The Klotho gene is named for the Greek goddess who spun the thread of life. Kuro-o first identified the gene in 1997 in a mutated form that accelerated age-dependent loss of function in mice. Subsequent studies showed that people who carried two copies of a less-common form of the gene died earlier than those who had the more common gene.
In his latest study, Kuro-o created transgenic mice with overactive versions of the Klotho gene. Those mice had life spans 20 percent or more longer than mice with the ordinary version of the gene, Kuro-o said.
"These are still animal experiments, but potentially it might be possible to use the hormone in humans," he said. "But we still don't know if the protein can be used to extend life span in humans."
A lot must still be learned about the Klotho hormone, starting with the way it works, Kuro-o explains.
“We speculate that it blocks insulin action,” he said. Specifically, it appears to block the insulin-like growth factor-1 pathway. Studies have shown that blocking that pathway extends the life span of worms, flies and mice, he said, and the same may be true in humans.
Kuro-o and his colleagues are trying to locate the cellular receptor for the Klotho hormone. He envisions multiple medical uses of the hormone in humans. One use would enable a blood test for the hormone to help determine potential life span. There’s also the possibility that Kuro-o and his colleagues will develop a hormonal anti-aging shot that goes beyond HGH.
If these high-tech, scientific, and pharmaceutical interventions seem a bit overwhelming, you’ll be happy to know that there are other methods for fighting aging and increasing performance.
Triangle carries the most potent, best-formulated versions of products like DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), which is an adrenal hormone that is the precursor for steroid hormones such as testosterone and estrogen. DHEA declines precipitously with advancing age in both men and women. The use of DHEA can be an easy and safe way to increase levels of important reproductive hormones.
The adrenal glands produce DHEA, which has long been recognized as an important biomarker of aging. DHEA levels decline so much that a 60 year-old typically only has about 15 percent as much DHEA as a 20 year-old. By the time a person reaches 80 years old, DHEA levels have usually declined to less than 5 percent of 20 year-old levels.
There are correlations between low DHEA levels and many degenerative diseases. Men who die of heart disease generally have significantly less DHEA than those who do not have the disease. People with Alzheimer's and many types of cancer often have below-normal DHEA levels.
DHEA also appears to be useful in combating auto-immune disorders, especially lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus). DHEA has demonstrated the potential for preventing or treating a broad range of other disorders including cancer (especially breast cancer), obesity, senile dementia, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, and weakened immune systems. Supplemental DHEA often markedly improves physical flexibility and endurance.
DHEA often decreases appetite by increasing the levels of cholecystokinin, the hormone that tells your brain that you've had enough to eat. It also tends to inhibit the conversion of glucose to fat, which keeps people from gaining as much weight from eating carbohydrates as they otherwise would.
In some cases, DHEA can significantly improve one's cholesterol profile, raising levels of “good” HDL cholesterol levels and lowering levels of bad LDL cholesterol.
Until 1996, DHEA was available mainly through compounding pharmacies with a physician's prescription. In mid-1996, over-the-counter DHEA began to become available in some health food stores and some mail-order supplement suppliers. By 1997, it had become a widely-available nutritional supplement.
Typical dosages of DHEA range from 25 milligrams per day upward. A 25 millgrams per day dosage of DHEA is almost totally safe, and will substantially increase DHEA levels in most people.
Anyone using more than 25 milligrams per day should have their blood level of DHEA or DHEA sulfate checked occasionally by a competent physician.
Supplemental DHEA will increase androgen (male sex hormone) levels in women; and at some dosage women will experience the effects of this. At doses above 100 mg. per day these androgen effects may begin to show up in things such as increased facial hair. These effects are slow to develop and reversible. In some cases, too much DHEA can cause acne in women.
The increase in male sex hormones in women caused by DHEA is not entirely a bad thing, if kept within limits. The adrenal glands normally produce some male sex hormones, even in women. Deficiencies in male sex hormones are not uncommon in women. Modest increases in these hormones can increase characteristics such as motivation and sex drive. Many women take DHEA primarily for its testosterone-enhancing effects.
Another important supplement is melatonin, a hormone produced by the pineal gland, which is located directly beneath the brain. Melatonin is a highly potent antioxidant; it’s released by our bodies in late evening as part of our biorhythmic cycle, and is designed to induce sleep and aid in recuperation from fatigue.
Studies show that maintaining youthful levels of melatonin help protect against age-related degenerative diseases, and it is a fantastic sleep aid that surpasses prescription and over-the-counter sleep aids in effectiveness and safety.
Triangle customers combine DHEA and melatonin with other anti-aging supplements such as Acetyl-L-Carnitine, an amino acid that boosts mitochondrial energy production by facilitating fatty acid transport and oxidation in the cell. Acetyl-L-carnitine stimulates growth of brain neural networks, and contributes to exercise stamina, recovery time, and strength.
Customers often take this product in an alternating pattern with Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which is another essential component of healthy mitochondrial function. Mitochondrial health is an important component of aging. Most cellular energy is produced in the mitochondria.
CoQ10 is a natural part of body chemistry that permeates cells, and can also be supplemented using quality Triangle products. It facilitates and regulates oxidation of fats and sugars into energy. People over age 30 have 50% or less CoQ10 on average compared to young adults.
Alpha-Lipoic Acid can be taken in conjunction with CoQ10 and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. It’s a highly potent antioxidant that counteracts free radicals in the mitochondria. Lipoic acid also recycles antioxidants such as Vitamin E so that they have more antioxidant effects. Lipoic acid reduces glycation damage due to excess glucose in the blood, which may be involved in aging.
Carnosine is another of the important supplements that fight aging and improve body function. Carnosine is a dipeptide made up of a chemical combination of amino acids beta-alanine and L-histidine. It is normally found in food and the human body. Nerve cells and muscle cells function best when they contain high levels of carnosine.
High levels of carnosine in muscle tissue correlates with increased life span in animals. Carnosine levels decline with age. Muscle levels of carnosine decline 63% from age 10 to age 70, and may account for normal age-related decline in muscle mass and function. Carnosine acts as a pH buffer, so it protects muscle cells from free radical oxidation and other negative effects of acidic conditions caused by muscular exertion. Carnosine helps the heart muscle contract more efficiently through enhancement of calcium response in heart muscle cells.
Carnosine and Lipoic Acid interfere with aging caused by glycation, a process that damages the body’s proteins. Glycation is a cross-linking of proteins and sugars to form non-functioning structures in the body. Glycation is responsible for the cross-hatching of skin that results in wrinkles. Glycation can cause age-related disorders including neurologic, vascular, and eye disorders.
As you’ve discovered by reading this, fighting aging is a complex task that requires a serious investment of time, money and lifestyle choices.
The tide of gravity, entropy and time seeks to carry us away to a place where we are feeble, lacking strength, and “aged.” To be blunt, the tide seeks to kill us. If we love life, we will fight back with all the tools that Triangle has assembled, and with our own respect for the unique beings we are.
Using Triangle products in combination exercise, proper diet, and pharmaceutical hormones like HGH can achieve powerful anti-aging results within a few months.
