HEALTH FROM THE EARTH

Health products manufacturers and retailers are always looking for natural substances that will “fix” a variety of health problems.

Because human bodies are made of materials that come from the earth, it is often the case that earth materials are agents of health.

That’s why Triangle carries products such as Omica Active Ionic and Omica Plus, which contain crucial components such as Fulvic and Humic acids.

These components are derived from the deep earth where they were deposited millions of years ago; the same geo-biological forces that created deposits of oil also created vast amounts of buried organic matter that geologists call “leonardites.” Leonardite contains many components, but two of its most useful components are Humic acid and Fulvic acid. Fulvic acid is yellowish in color; Humic acid is dark. On a molecular level, Fulvics weigh far less than Humics and are more biologically active.

These acids are extremely important to humans and plants. They contain hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur, and are complex-chain acid compounds that provide support for metabolism and growth.

Humans can ingest Humic and Fulvic acids by eating organic foods and drinking clean, natural water, such as water from unpolluted rivers. They can also take in these acids as supplements sold by Triangle Healing Products. When Fulvic-Humic acids are presented to the body in the proper form, the acids survive the digestive process, are metabolized by the liver, and produce human health effects by circulating to cells via the bloodstream. Some Humic Fulvic preparations can also be used by humans externally as topical preparations.

Decades of research indicate that these acids are useful for a variety of medical purposes including vascular system benefits, pain cessation, relief from musculoskeletal disorders such as arthritis and lumbago, relief from digestive disorders, treatment of skin and bacteriological diseases, purification of blood, and as agents that defeat liver problems and blood deficiencies.

Experiments with oral ingestion of these acids have shown that the acids reduce our body’s absorption of heavy metals and pesticides, and that such acids may prevent toxic pollutants from causing cancer and mutations; Humic and Fulvic acids are believed to be anti-carcinogenic. They neutralize “free radicals” that are known to cause cell damage that leads to cancer, and can help restore the body to a healthier pH.

Not all Fulvic and Humic health products are created equal. The quality of a product containing these acids depends on several factors, including the quality of the source leonardite, the way the leonardite is mined, the way the acids are extracted, the way the extracts are stored, the way they are placed into solution, how they are preserved in solution, and what they are combined with in solution.

The Omica manufacturing system uses the highest quality source materials, the most advanced extracting process, and a proprietary way of combining and formulating the acids with other components that potentiate their healing potential. The Omica products contain more pure source components in a higher percentage than you’re likely to find in competing formulas made by other manufacturers.

The Omica product system consists of two primary formulations that provide targeted protection and nutritional enhancement. Omica’s Active Ionic contains Fulvic acid, but the formula is focused on providing an extra dose of ionized minerals.

The process of ionization creates an altered molecular structure that allows minerals to better exist in solution and to better be absorbed by the body’s cells. The benefit of ionized minerals is that they are absorbed more quickly than minerals that are not ionized. The quicker absorption means faster, more efficient metabolism of the mineral’s benefits.

Minerals are a key to physical existence, but many people are mineral deficient. The use of Active Ionic gives you the benefits of mineral supplementation combined with the benefits of acids refined using techniques that create a good-tasting version of these substances.

Another important Omica formula is Omica Plus, which contains less ionic minerals and more Fulvic Acid. This product is often used by those who are already satisfied with their existing use of a mineral supplement but who want to supercharge their absorption of minerals with a potentiating dose of Fulvic acid.

The benefits of Omica’s Fulvic acid are wide-ranging and impressive. It is a chelator that removes excessive calcium deposits; such deposits are often implicated in diseases like arthritis. Fulvic acid has been shown to protect against and remove heavy metals. Unbeknownst to many of us, heavy metals pollution is stored in our bodies; the toxicity of such pollution is a contributing factor in acute and chronic diseases, mutations and other disorders.

Another function that Fulvics serve is as “free radical” scavengers that work against oxidation damage that often occurs in cells as we age. Further, Fulvic acid supplies electrolytes, assists in transport of nutrients, assists enzyme function, and otherwise assists in stimulating metabolism.

The Omica products contain grape seeds and grape skin extract that provide bioflavonoid complexes known as Procyanidolic Oligomers (PCO). PCO's have are twenty times more potent than vitamin C and fifty times more potent than vitamin E as free radical scavenger. They also contain cold-pressed citrus essential oils, which are known to fight harmful pathogens and toxins, and stevia, a natural sweetener that also provides nutritional benefits.

In horticulture, Fulvic and Humic acids greatly improve plant health and vigor. One of the main reasons these acids benefit plants so much is that they improve plants’ ability to uptake essential nutrients.

Humic and Fulvic acids promote vigor, disease resistance and root development in agricultural crops. These increases result in faster growth. The acids assists roots by increasing soil permeability, increasing water retention, reducing water evaporation, and promoting the growth of beneficial microbial colonies in the root zone. The creation of a healthy, microbially-active rootzone environment creates stronger plants that uptake nutrients better.

We are not suggesting that farmers Omica products onto their plants, but it is interesting to note the important role that these acids play in proper growth for humans and plants, showing the essential unity of living things, and the general efficacy of Fulvic and Humic acid.
