Elegant. Sophisticated. Beautiful. Triangle Sauna Our sauna cabins are carefully tongue and groove constructed using the finest Canadian Hemlock or Cedar. Some cabins are made from hypoallergenic basswood.

Long, tempered-glass windows flank the sides and front door of the cabin. Recessed lights run the full length of the sauna, delivering soft, ambient lighting. Floor heaters and elevated heaters surround you in infrared energy, ensuring that the entire body receives vibrant, safe, cleansing heat.

Most Triangle Saunas are made from Red Canadian cedar, a lovely wood that’s richly-grained, durable and aromatic. Cedarwood lasts longer than other wood used in saunas. Its exceptional thermal insulating properties resist splits caused by heating and cooling of sauna cabins. Cedar has appealing natural colors, including light honey, mellow ambers, reddish cinnamons, and rich sienna browns.

The characteristic fragrance of cedar enlivens the senses. Cedarwood contains natural materials that are anti-fungal and prevent decay. Cedar’s ability to repel pathogens and decay is important in sauna construction because moisture and heat can create an ideal environment for molds and bacterial growth in inferior saunas.

Other companies build their saunas from materials that do not contain naturally protective components. Those saunas have to be cleaned with toxic, abrasive chemicals that harm human bodies.

Triangle’s use of cedarwood and basswood negates the need for using chemical cleaners. Cedarwood and basswood are easily maintained using detergent and water.

Cedarwood contains aromatic oils that facilitate healing and detoxification. Cedarwood aroma breaks down mucus, fights bronchitis, and helps dispel toxins and excess fluids from the body.

For people sensitive to cedar, Triangle offers hypo-allergenic basswood. A Triangle basswood cabin features 100% of its exposed wood made from pure basswood, which is fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

Other companies use plywood, glues, and chemical binders and finishes; their saunas are made of plywood, which emits poisonous formaldehyde. Triangle has none of those problems. Our sauna cabins have fresh air vents and reversible benches, and are made with water-based, non-toxic glue instead of chemical adhesives. And no need to worry about off-gassing from Armana windows either- Triangle windows are the purest tempered glass.
